As participants in B Corp service week, Noto Group employees spent an afternoon at New Avenues for Youth’s Day Service Center in downtown Portland preparing and serving dinner to homeless youth.
New Avenues for Youth is a nonprofit organization that offers programs and services that empower homeless youth to exit street life. Their mission is to work with the community to prevent youth homelessness and provide homeless and at-risk young people the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives. They provide a variety of outcome-based programs and services designed to empower youth to exit street life while providing them with food, shelter, and access to education and job training.
As talent advisors, it is hard not to think about the next generation of leaders. We believe that every young person should have an equal opportunity to accomplish their dreams.
We are pleased to have the opportunity to volunteer for New Avenues for Youth and contribute to their efforts of providing a brighter future for Portland’s homeless youth.
