We had a great afternoon cleaning and fixing youth bicycles with B-Local PDX.
B Local PDX is a group of Certified B Corporations from Oregon & Southwest Washington working to foster and deepen connections among organizations in our region who share our purpose and passion for using business as a force for good.
B Local PDX is one of several B Local Communities – organizations set up to serve local regions of Certified B Corporations, guided by the work of the nonprofit B Lab.
The day of service was organized to create meaningful connections between B Corp businesses, local nonprofits, and our community.
In partnership with Safe Routes to School, the Street Trust offers Bicycle Safety Education at schools in Portland. The Street Trust works in classrooms, on the streets, in city hall and the state legislature encouraging and advocating for safe and convenient walking, biking, and transit options.
