According to the 2016 Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) Executive Talent 2020 Report,* global executive search revenues have grown 27.9%. The majority of firms surveyed (73%) predict that demand for Executive Search will remain the same or increase over the next 5 years. Clients surveyed maintain that retained executive search is favored for board and C-suite searches as well as hard to fill leadership positions. As a result, 52% of firms surveyed expect to hire additional search consultants to increase capacity for growth.
The survey revealed that diversity ranks among the top business concerns as it relates to hiring. As a result, firms must develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to find diverse leadership talent to drive innovation and ideas to that meet the expectations of an increasingly diverse consumer base.
