BIO, ROY NOTOWITZ

Over the past 14 years, Roy has been a trusted talent acquisition adviser to dozens of leading consumer products, technology, and non-profit organizations nationwide. Representative clients include: Adidas, Brooks Sports, Columbia Sportswear, Dickies, Dr. Martens, Eagle Creek, Easton Bell Sports, Fox Racing, Hanna Andersson, Hanesbrands, Horny Toad, Lucy Activewear, Mountain Hardwear, Moving Comfort, Nau, New Balance, Nike, Rapha Racing, Revision Eyewear, Rome Snowboards, Salomon Sports, Simms Fishing, Speedo, Timberland, Timbuk2, and Yakima Products.

Prior to Notogroup, Roy was a Founder and Managing Partner of Generator Group, a leading executive search and recruitment consulting firm that ranked as one of the fastest growing privately held consulting firms in the nation in 2007. Roy also gained significant in house corporate recruiting experience in his previous roles as a Recruiter and Staffing Manager at Nike and Intel.

In 2009, Roy was a recipient of the Sporting Goods Business "SGB 40 Under 40" industry award. He has written for, and addressed, groups such as the American Marketing Association, American Electronics Association, Gear Trends, and the Outdoor Industry Association on topics that include talent alignment, hiring trends, strategic staffing, relationship recruiting, employment branding, candidate experience, interviewing and selection.

Roy received his Bachelor's degree in Communication from the State University of New York and his Master's degree in College Student Development from Virginia Tech. When not working, Roy enjoys spending time with family, hiking, fishing, running and skiing.

BIO, KAREN KINARED

Karen's foundation for understanding talent started when she worked for Right Management, an international outplacement and career services company. At a time when the Internet was a relatively new frontier, Karen successfully operated her own recruiting research and training firm in Seattle for 6 years prior to gaining additional in-house corporate recruiting experience in retail banking and technology at Washington Mutual, Attachmate, and others. Cumulatively, Karen's experience includes over 10 years of recruiting senior to executive level talent.

Karen holds a degree from Bellevue Community College with concentrations in Political Philosophy and Art History. She received her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation in 2004. When she is not busy recruiting the best candidates, Karen spends as much time as possible in the outdoors with her family.
