BIO, ROY NOTOWITZ, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Over the past 15 years, Roy has been a trusted talent acquisition adviser to dozens of leading consumer products, technology, and non-profit organizations nationwide. Representative clients include: Adidas, Brooks Sports, Columbia Sportswear, Dickies, Dr. Martens, Eagle Creek, Easton Bell Sports, Fox Racing, Hanna Andersson, Hanesbrands, Horny Toad, Lucy Activewear, Mountain Hardwear, Icebreaker, Naturally Advanced Technologies, Nau, New Balance, Nike, Rapha Racing, Revision Eyewear, Rome Snowboards, Salomon Sports, Simms Fishing, Speedo, Timberland, Timbuk2, and Yakima Products.

Prior to Notogroup, Roy was a Founder and Managing Partner of Generator Group, a leading executive search and recruitment consulting firm that ranked as one of the fastest growing privately held consulting firms in the nation in 2007. Roy also gained significant in house corporate recruiting experience in his previous roles as a Recruiter and Staffing Manager at Nike and Intel.

In 2009, Roy was a recipient of the Sporting Goods Business "SGB 40 Under 40" industry award. He has written for, and addressed, groups such as the American Marketing Association, American Electronics Association, Gear Trends, and the Outdoor Industry Association on topics that include talent alignment, hiring trends, strategic staffing, relationship recruiting, employment branding, candidate experience, interviewing and selection.

Roy received his Bachelor's degree in Communication from the State University of New York and his Master's degree in College Student Development from Virginia Tech. When not working, Roy enjoys spending time with family, hiking, fishing, running and skiing.

BIO, GENNEVIEVE EMERY, RECRUITER

Gennevieve started with Notogroup in 2009 as a Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator and has been gaining significant recruiting experience. In her current role, Gennevieve is responsible for candidate relationship management, position marketing, database administration, and project coordination. She has successfully supported searches for a range of consumer products industry clients including: Adidas, Dr. Martens, Icebreaker, Naturally Advanced Technologies, Massif Mountain Gear, New Balance, Overland Footwear, Simms Fishing, Speedo, Timberland, Timbuk2, Williamson-Dickie, and Yakima Products. Prior to joining Notogroup, Gennevieve held production positions in the video and film industry and worked in the software industry as a marketing maven for Acuo Technologies.

Gennevieve holds a Bachelor's of Science in Communication Studies from Portland State University. When not at work, Gennevieve enjoys spending time with her family and friends; hiking, rafting, making short films, cooking, and traveling.

 

 

BIO, SARA SCHNEIDER, RECRUITING AND MARKETING COORDINATOR

Sara started with Notogroup in 2011 as Recruiting Coordinator, responsible for the company's online marketing and communications, database administration, and project coordination. Prior to joining Notogroup, Sara held marketing and communications positions specializing in social media strategy and served as a member of AmeriCorps.

Sara holds a Bachelor's of Arts in English and Arts & Ideas in the Humanities from the University of Michigan. She has also served on the Board of Directors for arts nonprofit, ArtPeers. When not multitasking in her day job, Sara is a professional dancer and certified yoga instructor. She also indulges her adventurous side by spending time rock climbing and snowboarding, and her quiet side by painting and taking photographs.

 

 

 

BIO, CAROL GELBMAN, RECRUITING RESEARCHER

Carol has been with Notogroup since 2009. She brings over 10 years of experience as a Recruiting Researcher specializing in tracking talent in the apparel, footwear, and sporting goods industries. Carol stays current on the latest tools and research methodologies. She holds a BA from Hunter College and a Masters in Information Studies from Syracuse University. When not researching, Carol enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, swimming, reading, and time with family.
